Strain (Canadian hardcore punk)

There are at least three bands called Strain: 1) Strain was a 90's metalcore band from Canada. They released records for New Age ("Here And Now" see albums section) and Heartfirst Records. 2) Strain is a metal band from Bolton, United Kingdom. They blend elements of Down, Corrosion of Conformity, Black Sabbath and Pantera to produce a metal / stoner sound worthy of the big hitters in the industry.
