Based in Melbourne, E X E K made their live debut in early 2014. As the name may suggest, the four piece present a degree of sophistication, where a merging of discipline with destruction allows for “passive aggressive, paranoid compositions”. Delivered patiently throughout their sets are loud bursts of guitar and synth, whilst a kraut-esque rhythm section provides insistent propulsion, which is indicative of dub production techniques.
