Ostraca

Ostraca is a three-piece screamo / post-hardcoreband from Richmond, Virginia, USA. Originally formed in 2009 under the name Kilgore Trout, their second guitarist Josh Niezgoda left the band in 2014, leaving the remaining trio to start Ostraca as their new phase. Honing in the sounds of the historic screamo bands before them, such as Usurp Synapse, Circle Takes the Square, and City of Caterpillar; they play an intensely dark, chaotic and dissonant style of screamo/emoviolence that harkens back to their Virginia forefathers.
