チャクラ (Japanese experimental/new wave band)

チャクラ (also known as CHAKRA) were a Japanese pop group featuring Bun Itakura, Donbay Nagata, Kazuto Shimizu, 小川美潮 (Mishio Ogawa) and Tatsuo Kondo. Singer Mishio Ogawa joined the newly formed band as a 19-year-old in 1978 after attending vocalist auditions. In 1980 チャクラ released their debut album "Chakra", produced by Makoto Yano. The album's first track "Fuku no tane" was released as a single in June 1980, with the album's second track "Mannequin" as the B-side. Read more on Last.fm
