The Vessel

The Vessel is a Puerto Rican-based Punk band conceived in 2009 between childhood friends Eduardo Villanueva (Guitar/vocals) and Jean Ortiz (Drums). They shortly recruited Paul Ryan on bass via recommendation from a friend. The band at first had heavy and easily identifiable influence from bands such as The Misfits, AFI, The Murderdolls, Tiger Army, Anti-Flag and Bouncing Souls, but later their sound gravitated more towards Story of the Year, Comeback Kid, Death Before Dishonour, Turbonegro and others.
