Richard "Dimples" Fields (March 21, 1942 – January 12, 2000) was an American R&B and soul singer, popular during the 1980s. Richard "Dimples" Fields was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended Greenville Park School in Hammond, Louisiana. At the age of 9, he moved to Oakland, California with his family.
