The Roosters (Japanese: ザ・ルースターズ, Hepburn: Za Rūsutāzu; also written as The Roosterz) are a Japanese rock band formed in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1979. Their music has mixed rock and roll, punk rock, British blues, ska, and new wave.
