Hellbastard is an English crust punk/thrash metal band formed in 1984 in Newcastle. Members "Scruff" Lewty, Phil Laidlaw and Ian "Scotty" Scott formed Hellbastard, which was to be a combination of Crass-like politics and the music of Slayer.
