Dead or Alive fue una banda británica del género synthpop, perteneciente a la corriente del Hi-NRG, siendo una de las pioneras en el género. La banda fue formada en el año 1980 en Liverpool, como sucesora de otra llamada Nightmares In Wax. Sus características principales son su excéntrica vestimenta y los diferentes looks de su vocalista, Pete Burns.
