The Melodians fueron una banda de rocksteady formado en Greenwich, Jamaica, en 1965, por Tony Brevett (sobrino del bajista de Skatalites, Lloyd Brevett), Brent Dowe y Trevor McNaughton. Renford Cogle colaboró con la escritura y la organización del material.
