Kalapana is an American pop-rock band from Honolulu, Hawaii. They are known for their songs "Naturally", "Nightbird", and "The Hurt". In 1973, childhood friends DJ Pratt and Malani Bilyeu auditioned at the Rainbow Villa for Cecilio & Kapono. Bilyeu was a solo performer at the Oar House in Hawaii Kai while Pratt was downstairs at Chuck's in Sunlight with Kirk Thompson.
