Runt is the debut studio album by American musician Todd Rundgren, under the band name Runt, released in September 1970 by Ampex Records. Runt was a trio consisting of Rundgren (guitars, keyboards, vocals), Hunt Sales (drums), and Tony Sales (bass). The entire album was written and produced by Rundgren, formerly of Nazz, and he performed most of the instruments. The album features the single "We Got to Get You a Woman", which reached No. 20 on Billboard's Hot 100 in January 1971. A month later, the album peaked at No. 185 on the Billboard 200. The first album recording session was at I.D. Sound in Los Angeles with Electric Prunes singer Jim Lowe engineering.
