Long Tall Ernie and the Shakers was a Dutch rock and roll revivalist band successful in the 1970s. The band was born out of the Arnhem rock group Moan (formerly The Moans) in 1972 as a joke - members of Moan would return to the stage after shows dressed in fifties clothing and playing rock & roll under the Long Tall Ernie name.
