The Doobie Brothers es una banda estadounidense de rock, formada en 1970 por Tom Johnston, John Hartman y el bajista Greg Murph, que luego fue sustituido por Dave Shogren; todos ellos de California. En el año siguiente, ya transformados en quinteto (con Trian Porter y el percusionista Mike Hossack), lanzaron su primer LP Doobie Brothers.
