Enigma es un proyecto musical electrónico alemán creado por Michael Cretu en 1990. Cretu concibió el proyecto Enigma mientras estaba trabajando en Alemania, aunque decidió emplazar los estudios de grabación en A.R.T. Studios situado en la isla de Ibiza (España) desde principios de los años 1990 hasta mayo de 2009, donde grabó todos los álbumes de estudio.
