Lunachicks are an American punk rock band from New York City. The band formed in 1987, went on hiatus in 2001, and reunited in 2019. The band cited influences including the Ramones, Kiss, and the MC5. Theo Kogan, Gina Volpe, and Sydney "Squid" Silver were students at New York City's Fiorello H.
