Warren Zevon is the second studio album by American musician Warren Zevon. This album was recorded in 1975 and released on May 18, 1976, by Asylum Records. A remastered version of the album with bonus tracks was released in 2008 by Rhino Records. After dropping out of high school, Warren Zevon had some modest commercial success as a songwriter. His song "Outside Chance" was recorded and released by the Turtles in 1966, when Zevon was nineteen. Three years later, his song "She Quit Me" was re-recorded as "He Quit Me" by Lesley Miller and released on the Midnight Cowboy soundtrack. However, his first studio album, Wanted Dead or Alive (1970), had not done well.
