The album's lead single, "Cosmic Love", was released on January 14, 2016, its music video was released on February 11, 2016. Man About Town was met with generally positive reviews. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream publications, the album received an average score of 74, based on eight reviews.
