John Harry Cacavas (August 13, 1930 – January 28, 2014) was an American composer and conductor, best known for his television scores. He was the principal composer for Kojak (1973–78), also writing its second main title theme for its 5th and final season. Cacavas was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota in 1930.
