The Early Years are an English rock band from Hackney, London, England, consisting of David Malkinson, Roger Mackin, Brendan Kersey, Philip Raines and Alexander Theakston. The band came together as a three piece in 2004 through a mutual love of German krautrock, early electronica, art rock, noise and psychedelia.
